Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by telephoning 267640. This number is manned for 4 hours per day. Messages can be left on the answer-phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required, and prescriptions can be collected at reception.

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made:

  • In person
  • By writing and enclosing a stamped addressed envelope with the request
  • By telephone
  • By leaving a message on the 24 hour answer-phone
  • By email (See section 'Repeat Prescription Email ' at the top of the page for direct emailing, or ask for a leaflet at reception)

Many of the local pharmacies will collect prescriptions from the surgery for you. This arrangement is between the patient and the pharmacy, and you need to let your chosen pharmacy know when you need a prescription uplifted.

A repeat prescription ordered one day will normally be ready for collection after 3 pm one working day later e.g. a repeat ordered before 3 pm on Monday will be available after 3 pm on Tuesday. This is the case for all methods of ordering. Please try to avoid submitting routine repeat prescription requests on Mondays when the surgery is very busy.
