Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

 

Extended Hours

Please be aware that we now offer apppointments outside of normal consulting times. 

These appointments must be booked in advance and are for patients who cannot attend the Practice during normal consulting times. These are available on Monday/Tuesday evenings and Tuesday,Thursday and Friday mornings. Please ask at reception for more details.

Routine recall 3 years.

List Removal

Please note that each year the Health Board carries out a list cleansing to remove patients that have left the practice.

 

If you receive a letter from the Health Authority, please make sure that you take the time to respond to their letter. 

In the event that no action is taken, you may be removed from our Practice List.

Non-English Speakers

To register as a new patient: You must:

  • Live within the bypass in Ayr or Prestwick, up to the Airport
  • Have not in the past been removed from, or denied access to, our list for any reason other than your choice or domicile
  • Be over the age of 16, or your parent(s) / guardian(s) be registered with us.

You may be asked to attend a New Patient Assessment Appointment, where your medical history will be recorded. This enables the Health Professionals to give you appropriate care while we wait for your medical notes to reach us. You will be registered as a patient of the partnership and are free to choose which doctor to see.

If you fail to cancel or attend your assessment appointment, you will not be able to register with this practice in future.

If You Move Outside Our Catchment Area:

You must register with another practice if you:

  • Move to the far side of the bypass from Ayr or Prestwick, or beyond the Airport
  • Are removed from our list for any reason other than your choice or domicile
  • Are under the age of 16, and your parent(s) / guardian(s) cease to be registered with us.
